Super Fun!

This last week, we decided to head downtown to check out the Super Bowl festivities. We wanted to go before it got too crazy (the crowds increased every single day), so we opted to go on Tuesday. I have to admit, it was even better than I imagined. They had race cars for every team, specially showcasing the final 4 teams:

The NFL experience in the Convention Center, which we eventually went in. People were zip-lining overhead:

Everyone wanted in on the excitement:

It would have only been better if the Colts were up there instead (or at least the Patriots weren't):

There were stages set up:

And tons of people:

The stadium, ready for the big game:

The Marriot had a cool emblem on it:

There were even some hidden neat things. This is a football field on top of the Canterbury Hotel and you could only see it if you parked in the mall garage across the street and came down the right elevators (which we happen to do):

Getting ready to go in the NFL experience:

Unfortunately at this point, our camera decided to stop working. Too bad too, as there was a ton of neat stuff inside. We saw previous Super Bowl rings, lockers of specific players, history on the game, cheerleaders, etc. There was also tons of fun stuff for the kids to do. They got their face painted, got temporary tattoos, colored pictures, ran an obstacle course, and tried some games. We meant to just be there for an hour or two but we ended up there all evening!

The only thing that made this even better was when the Patriots lost tonight to the Giants. Thanks, little Manning, for defending big brother's house!
