Beyond that, Hailey now uses a fork and spoon at every meal. She also runs pretty much nonstop and prefers to be moving constantly, including bouncing and climbing. She follows instructions well and likes to try to color like big sis, although she often ends up using the crayons on the table and walls and other undesirable places. She crawls up and down the steps like a champ and even walks up and down them if it's just a few steps. We are working on body parts and she can point to her belly button, nose, eyes, and mouth and stick out her tongue if you ask where her tongue is. She loves the game chase, even chasing and catching you now (instead of you just chasing and catching her). She has also started playing hide and seek. If you hide, she will happily come find you and giggle.
Hailey and Hannah have created a few "fun" new games of their own. They have three favorites right now. In the first, Hailey wraps her arms around Hannah's waist, buries her head in Hannah's back, and Hannah runs around. In the second, Hannah pulls Hailey around in a laundry basket or the bin that holds all the blocks. In the third, Hannah holds one end of her kitty blanket while Hailey holds the other end and Hannah again runs around. All three games are sure to leave both kids laughing hysterically.
I'll leave you with a few pictures of our growing girl.
