One Year Ago Today

One year ago today:

...I was still a Mommy to one

...I could feel a baby kicking my ribs

...I was nervous and excited to meet my new son or daughter

...I didn't know if I was having a son or daughter

...I hadn't met my little girl yet

...I didn't know my baby's name

...I hadn't memorized her cute little cheeks, the brown specks in her eyes, or the way she wrinkles her nose when she smiles

...I hadn't held her hand, sat up with her when she was sick, or listened to her laugh

...I didn't know how I would feel about being a mother of two
