We started Hailey's birthday by dropping Hannah off to preschool and then heading to the zoo where we met Carrie & Brett. We walked around and attempted the dolphin show, but it ended up getting cancelled because the dolphins wouldn't come out. We saw a cute baby monkey and mostly just walked around before choosing a stuffed animal for Hailey for her birthday and heading home so we could go pick up Hannah. Here are a couple of pictures:
Cute baby (but not as cute as mine) :)
That evening, we wanted to take the kids to the park, but it was still raining. We opted to just have dinner and then a "mini-party" for Hailey that included cupcakes (which she loved) and her present from us:
I like this picture because you can see her two front teeth.
Testing the cupcake to see if it's any good.
Just a little bite
Okay it's good!
Oh there is cake under this icing.
What, am I a mess?
After the bath, ready for gifts.
The animal we picked out at the zoo - a snow tiger
Just what she wanted - toy balls from Hannah!
What a big day for everyone!

April 10, 2010: Hailey's Birthday Party
We had lots of family and a few friends stop by to celebrate Hailey's birthday with us. We opened presents, had pizza, and enjoyed some cupcakes and ice cream. There were so many presents that Hailey didn't know what to do. Luckily Hannah and Abby were happy to help (and when they got bored, Mommy helped).
The birthday girl.
