Hannah's Field Trip To The State Fairgrounds

I told Hannah that I would go with her on one fieldtrip this year, so she chose the one to the state fairgrounds.  I was able to put Hailey in extended day preschool, so off we went.

The kids started out by getting baskets and gathering what the guide asked.  Here, they got to choose a pretend vegetable to pick up.  Hannah is holding up her cucumber (which she loves to eat!):

Showing me her basket of all the fruits and veggies they gathered:

Standing in line, waiting for more instructions.  If she isn't the tallest kid in her class, she looks close.  She is definitely one of the youngest:

Everyone got a plant.  Here she is with her tomato plant.  No guarentees on how long it will live - Mommy has quite the black thumb:

Here she is checking out plants.  She said she likes this little boy (Xander S):

We also got to see animals.  This guide is talking about the horses they keep:

The kids even get to pet him:

And the chicks were fluffy and fun to look at:

They were peeping as we petted them:

The baby cow was also really cute:

It was a fun day!
