~ At age 2, she was 27lbs 12oz and 35 3/4 inches

~ At age 3, she was 31lbs 9oz and 38 inches

~ At age 4, she is 33lbs 6oz and 40 inches

Physical Features:

~ At birth, her hair was black. Her eyes were blue grey.

~ At age 1, her hair was brown but there wasn't much except in the back. Her eyes were blue with a few specks of bright brown around her pupil. She had two teeth with four more on the way.

~ At age 2, her hair was brown and there is definitely a lot more of it. She had her first trim. Her eyes were brown in the middle but are still mostly blue grey around the outside. There may be a little green in there as well. She had all her first year teeth, except her "i" teeth which are just now starting to come in. No two year molars yet.

~ At age 3, she had rich brown hair cut in a chin-length bob with bangs.  She had her first real cut (thanks to grabbing a pair of safety scissors and giving herself bangs).  Her eyes were mostly grey with a brown starburst in the middle.  She had all her teeth, although her 2 year molars are just now coming in.

~ At age 4, she has dark rich brown hair and bangs.  Her hair is almost shoulder-length, although we will probably cut it again soon because it looks thin at the bottom.  Her eyes are light brown.  She has all her teeth for this age.

Milestones:

~ At birth, she was good at sleeping and nursing.

~ At age 1, she could walk, say 2 words, turn pages, point, clap, laugh, give high five, wave, try to run, feed herself, eats table foods, uses spoon, put things in a basket, climb stairs, drink out of a sippy and straw cup, give hugs, follow simple instuctions, climb on rocking horse, and recognize her name.

~ At age 2, she could run, say about 150 words, use 2-4 word sentences, ask questions, give commands, feed herself with a spoon and fork, drink out of a regular cup, climb the stairs normally, follow more complex directions, and climb the rock wall and bars on our swingset.

~ At age 3, she can run, jump, hop, climb, balance, say hundreds of words, use up to 6 or 7 word sentences, ask harder questions, engage in conversation, be understood by most people, get her own water and plates/utensils, get some of her own snacks, follow multi-step directions, starting to pump on swing, do somersaults, peddle a trike and bike with training wheels, use a scooter, recognize emotions, color somewhat in the lines, draw circles and lines, draw Ts Xs and Hs, tell a story, hold her pencil correctly, tell you her first name, call others by their name, recognize some foods she can't have from allergies, show preferences, count to 12, say most of the ABCs, show you that she is 3, count objects to 12, name a few shapes, name several colors, and sing some songs with most words.

~ At age 4, she can speak so most people can understand her.  She still says "y" for "l" and "w" for "r" but has most other sounds.  She loves to sing and dance.  She can get her own snacks.  She can write most letters, is eager to write words, pretends to read, enjoys preschool, writes her name, follows directions well, does great in gymnastics, says ABCs correctly, knows her age and Hannah's age, counts objects, can count to 30, knows most shapes, knows all colors, sings many songs, runs well, pumps herself on the swing sometimes, colors well, draws people and some objects, and swims with arm floaties.
