I feel like these posts are often "catching up" on things that have previously occured. Such is the life of a busy mom. Anyway, I'm devoting this post to catching up on Christmas.
Christmas festivities began early with Christmas in Centerville. Rob was away at a conference, but I bundled up the kids and headed east to spend the weekend with the in-laws. We had a lot of fun - we saw Santa (and Mrs. Claus!), walked around the lit-up town, did some crafts, and went on a carriage ride:
Next up was the actual week of Christmas. We started out at Rob's parents house with our first Christmas on the evening of the 23rd. The kids had lots of fun and got many cool new toys:
The afternoon of the 24th was the next Christmas with Rob's extended family, although in all the chaos, I didn't manage to snap a single shot. We left there that evening and went home, got in our Christmas PJs, and set out milk and cookies (and a letter) for Santa and carrots for the reindeer:
Christmas morning was exciting and Hannah could hardly wait to run downstairs and look at her stocking and presents. Hailey had a good time watching big sis and Mommy & Daddy got some goodies too:
On to both sets of my grandparents (where we had a great time!) and then on the 27th, we had our family Christmas with Mom & Dad. Unfortunately, we forgot our camera for these events, so I will have to ask Sarah, Matthew, and Mom & Dad for any pictures they have.
We had a great Christmas, even if we were all a little sick, followed by a not-so-great New Year's (where we were all very sick) but it was so great to hang out with Sarah, Paul, & Bennett and Matthew & Jessica.
Hope everyone else had a wonderful holiday!

The pictures of them bundled up are so cute. They look like such happy little girls!
