3 Months (Almost)

Our Hailey Belle had an adverse reaction to her rotavirus vaccine so besides filing a form with the CDC, they sent us to a GI specialist to be sure she was okay. The GI specialist told us to give it a few more days since she has gotten a little better in the last day or two, he gave us a prescription to try if she wasn't continuing to get better by the end of the week, and he told us to come back in 3 weeks if she is still having trouble. Poor baby. :(

Anyways, I did get an update on her stats since they took her weight and measurements at the doctor's office. She will be 3 months old next week and as of today, she is a whooping 14lbs and 25 inches. Way to grow, little one! As for milestones, she has become a very smiley baby. She smiles at everyone and even laughs when you play peek-a-boo with her. She coos, with her favorite sound being "a-ga". She watches people as they walk through the room and can clearly see much farther. She recognizes her mama, as she stops crying when I enter the room. She holds her head up well and has started turning it from side to side while holding it. She still dislikes tummy time but is becoming more tolerant. She hasn't rolled over yet but she has started trying. She's positioning herself correctly and trying to kick to get herself over, we just aren't quite there yet. She bats toys with her hands and now she also grabs, holds, and shakes toys. She slept almost 9 hours straight the other night.

Our baby girl is a beautiful, happy baby and it's so great to see her doing well and growing!
