Well here we are at 39 weeks. I had my appointment yesterday and there were no changes from last week. I know that dilation/effacement makes no difference in the end, but it was still depressing to hear that there was no change since I've been having so many contractions. Doctor still insists that there is a good chance I'll go into labor before he gets back on April 6th but I think he's just being nice. LOL That's okay, he's now on vacation and I'd rather have him here for my delivery anyways. He officially offered me the April 7th induction date, which I took. He did say that if I really wanted it, he would probably be willing to let me go one more week beyond that but I told him we're not aiming for a 10lb baby here! Based on the ultrasound from last week, this baby will probably be right around 9lbs on April 7th and will already be late. That's enough for me!
The refinance paperwork is in, our taxes are done, Hannah gets her stitches out today, and now there's nothing to do but wait for baby! Send us good labor vibes! :)

April 7th!!! That is a nice date! And its a tuesday, Did you know Holden was born on a tuesday? Just hope baby doesn't surprise on April 1st... better let my hubby keep that day ;-)
Good luck with your last week or so as a family of 3... Give hannah lots of loving...I am so excited for the arrival of mystery baby!
Good vibes.. good vibes. If you deliver April 7th, your baby will be exactly one week before Brett's 1st birthday... a WONDERFUL time of year to have a baby. Seriously... you'll be able to be outside and everything.

April is a lovely month to have a baby. I hope he/she holds out until your doc gets home. But you know, sometimes these babies get their own ideas....
