Random Cuteness

No real theme here - I just had too many cute pictures and no where else to post them:

Hannah got a library card of her own:

Logan loves buttons and loves getting all of Mommy's attention now that the girls are in school:

Sarah and Paul visited since they won't be in for Christmas (baby girl will only be a week or two old) - Paul's brother's daughter Stephanie is photo-bombing us:

The kids playing at the splash park:

Movie nights are a favorite around here:

Playground fun with best friends:

Sleeping sweeties visited my room almost every night Rob was gone for Gen Con:

Enjoying raspberry berets:

This is what happens when Daddy puts baby to sleep:

(And this is what happens when Mommy does):

Logan really likes chicken wings:

A fun cute shot playing with my little buddy:

Ready for a zoo trip:

Someone is loving video games already (although it is not plugged in):

I think that's all the cuteness this blog can stand...  ;)

Cartoon Kids (BU Homecoming)

We went to Butler's homecoming for a few hours this morning.  I didn't get a lot of pictures, but I did take a picture of the caricature that a guy from the Indy Star did of our 3 cuties.  We will be framing this:

It was actually far too hot this year (a combo of an early Homecoming and an Indian Summer) to wear this hat but it was so cute that I needed a photo.  He will just have to wear it later:

Go Dawgs!

Family Time!

Last night, per the kids' request, we went on a walk and then did a movie night:

We have been showing them movies that we liked as kids.  So far, we've done Freaky Friday, Honey I Shrunk the Kids, Honey We Shrunk Ourselves, and the Back to the Future series.  They have loved them all, and I like the nostalgia of watching shows that I loved as a kid.  A definite win-win!  I remember going to Disney and seeing the Honey I Shrunk the Kids playground, which is fun because we plan to be in Disney right around this time next year.  I also remember watching the second and third Back to the Future in the theater (and how cool it was that Marty was going to come to the future on my 36th birthday - man, that felt old!).  Now, if only I could get a hoverboard for my birthday next year...

SkyZone - Bouncing Fun

I have become more active again in the stay at home mom group that I joined when Hannah was a baby.  They actually disbanned that particular group as they were forming up a similar one (with all the same people) so we took that opportunity to reintroduce ourselves and meet up.  I did a book club with Amy a few weeks ago and today I met with some moms at SkyZone (a bounce place) to do Toddler time.  Logan doesn't know how to jump yet, but Toddler Time was the perfect time to hone his dodge ball skills, lay in a foam pit, and just carry around pool noodles for no real reason.
What a sweet, silly boy!

Dear Future Hailey

Dear future Hailey: The reason you are wearing that shirt in your kindergarten picture is because you thought that a donut riding a bicycle while holding a tea cup of hot chocolate with floating, waving marshmallows was hilarious, and I couldn't talk you out of it. I did my best. Love, Mom

Farmer's Market

We tried the Farmer's Market this morning.  It was something I had been meaning to try but hadn't gotten around to.  It was actually rather brisk and I wondered if the reason there didn't seem to be as many vendors as I expected was because it was so late in the season and so chilly.  Still, we found some apples, raspberries, plums, pears, fudge, and jalapeno cheddar bread.  All in all, a good trip!

Ready to set out:

Enjoying our purchases:
