First Day of 3rd Grade and Kindergarten

Hard to believe that summer is already over!  Hailey is very excited about the start of school and Hannah is a little nervous, but ready to go.  Hailey has Mrs Nichols and Hannah has Mrs Feder.

A cute picture of all 3 kids.  Who knew they could be this awake and happy at 6:30am?

Two big girls ready for school:

Ready to go with our Frozen backpacks:

 Here comes the bus:

 So excited!

Hannah wants to be an author when she grows up.  Here are the books she is working on reading:

Hailey said she'd like to be an artists.  Here is a picture she drew me the other day:

 Home again!

Everyone had an awesome first day at school!  Both girls love their teachers and have already made some friends.  Hannah is thrilled to be in the same reading class as Bryn (Ms. Chaplin's class, the highest reading group).  Hailey loved the bus, recess, and eating lunch at school like a big kid.  Great first day!

Summertime Fun

As is tradition, we are far too busy to actually blog during the summer, so I'll just give a run-down of what we did.

We went to Camp Techumseh and stayed with the MeyPfans for a week of daycamp:

Hannah was named Butterfly Queen because she likes to chase butterflies:

Hailey was named Daycamp Sweetheart because they thought she was the sweetest:

Hannah was extremely proud to get the blue band, meaning she could go on the slides (but not diving board - that is yellow band):

Logan hung out with us and practiced his walking:

Then we went to the Kenyon reunion:

We played at playgroup several times:

Logan practiced more walking:

We played at playgrounds and in the streams:

We celebrated the 4th of July with Lori and her family:

We watched the Walker girls and went on several outings with them:

Hailey broke her arm climbing out of Logan's crib after she was cuddling with him:

The girls got haircuts to get ready for school:

We played on the playground some more:

We rested:

And we went on a surprise visit to Sarah's gender reveal party:

It's a girl!

All in all, we had an excellent, busy summer!
