More Thumbsucking

The girls were never ones to suck their thumbs or take pacifiers, so this is new territory for me.

It is incredibly cute, but I worry about him putting things in his mouth when he gets mobile.  For now, I'll just enjoy the sweetness!

Pumpkin Patch

It's time again for our annual trip to the pumpkin patch with the grandparents and great-grandparents.  We already had the kids' costumes so we decided to go ahead and trick-or-treat early.  Here is our little unicorn and fairy princess:

Now the dragon is in the pictures too:

One of the first times Logan is really tri-poding.  Cutest dragon ever:

Changed out of Halloween costumes and into Halloween shirts for our trip to the patch:

Hannah got grandma to do the big maze.  Hope grandma has GPS on her cell!

They made it back - ready for a trip out to pick our pumpkins.  Daddy has joined us:

So many choices!  Good thing grandma and grandpa helped Logan!

Hannah finally agreeing to a pumpkin that was big (but not the very biggest one out there):

It was fun!  A bit colder than it has been in previous years, but that actually made it feel like fall.  Our trip was a success!

Logan's First Trip To The Children's Museum

The girls have been begging to do the museum and since we have a pass, I thought we'd go after school one day.  Today we decided to see how Logan liked it:

Seems like a big success!

Splash Park

Hannah's school does a "balanced" calendar, meaning they get 2 weeks off after each quarter and then 2 months during the summer.  This year, we decided to surprise the girls with a fun trip during the 1st Intercession here in Oct.  We wanted to do Holiday World, but we ended up choosing the weekend that it poured down rain, so I called and cancelled our reservations and made some in the water park at French Lick instead.  Paul and Marie offered to come help and with 3 kids, we gladly took them up on the offer.  We didn't tell the kids until we were on our way, and they were so excited!

Here is our hotel room:

Testing out the bunk bed and getting ready to head to the indoor water park:

A quick pic before they ran off to play:

The package I bought included laser tag and mini-golf.  Aunt Jen had joined us by this time and the girls were so excited to see her!  Here is Logan at mini-golf.  It was glow-in-the-dark and his sleeper was as well for some reason!

We got up bright and early the next day, had breakfast, and went back for another round of swimming fun:

Everyone had a great time and was sad when it was time to go!  We will definitely be doing a small (or hopefully occasionally large) vacation in Oct from now on!
