Happy 5th Birthday!

For Hannah's 5th birthday, we decided to start out the night before by celebrating at Chuck E Cheese with Cash since his birthday was just last week. Here are the kids, enjoying the rides:

On her actual birthday, Hannah got a special hat, sticker, and toy at preschool and they all sang to her:

That evening, we met Daddy at Monkey Joes for some bouncing fun:

A good time was had by all!

Having Fun

Nothing warms a mommy's heart more than hearing your kids laughing and playing together:

I worried that being 3 years apart might be a barrier for them and that maybe they wouldn't enjoy playing together. Nope, they LOVE playing together, and I love that they love each other so much! :)

Hailey, How Old Are You?

It seems like the real question should be "how adorable are you?" I love how she uses her thumb and first finger to show how old she is, even though we tried to teach her to use her two fingers. So cute!

Finally Getting Outside

It's finally a nice day - we've had a lot of rainy, cool weather this spring so it didn't leave much time to spend outside. Here is Hailey, practicing climbing the ladder on the playground:

Continuing The Shoe Obsession

Hannah got all the princesses for her birthday from Aunt Sarah and Uncle Paul. These dolls are Barbie size and both kids have been playing with them. The funny thing is that Hailey is not really playing with the dolls so much as the dolls' shoes. She will take every shoe off and then just carry them in her hands. I have no idea why; she doesn't particularly do anything with them, but she does occasionally show them to me, as if to say "when they are this small, I can have lots of them." LOL, and so the obsession continues...

Celebrating Birthdays: 2nd & 5th

This year, we decided to do a combined party. There were far too many classmates in Hannah's preschool to invite them all and she really only plays with one outside of preschool anyway. So, I decided that we would just have a friends and family friends party this year and since their birthdays are only 6 weeks apart (and fall during a busy time of year anyway), we did a joint party. The girls really seemed to enjoy sharing their birthday.

Here is the set-up:
