Hannah has come up with some real gems over the last 6 months or so and I keep meaning to put them together and share them on here:
Mommy: What did you learn in preschool today?
Hannah: We learned that Jesus walked through the market.
Mommy: That's nice. Do you know where Jesus was going?
Hannah: I think he was going to Target.
~
Daddy (slams finger in drawer): Mother..... (thinks better of finishing this sentence since Hannah is right there)
Hannah: Did you just call Mommy so she can kiss your boo-boo?
~
Hannah: Jesus says I can wear dresses - it's in the bible.
~
Mommy: Hannah, please calm down!
Hannah: I can't, it's in my story (referring to the show Super Why) - see, it says "Hannah acts hyper!"
~
Hannah (singing): Send your mother off to church and then you wait for her to call (the lyrics are: Send your lover off to China and then you wait for her to call).
~
Hannah: Mommy, Drew and I are getting married!
Mommy: I think you have to be a little older.
Hannah: Like 5?
~
Hannah: I miss (insert name of whoever just left 10 seconds ago) SO much!
~
Person in line at store: You are a pretty little girl.
Hannah: I know.
~
Hannah: Hailey is my baby.
Mommy: Oh yeah? I'm pretty sure I remember when Hailey was born.
Hannah: Nope, I went to the hospital, they gave me a baby, and I fed it with my tummy. (Apperently when you go to the hospital, they just give you a kid. Could've saved myself some trouble if I knew that! Oh and apparently you feed babies with your tummy.)
~
Hannah: It's so nice that Jesus put my very best friend Sarah next door to me (her best friend, of course, changes practically by the minute).
~
Hannah (in the oh-so-dramatic voice that is only rivaled by Bryn, LOL): I will never leave my room ever again!

15 Months
Hailey had her 15 month appointment yesterday. She was 24.4lbs (75th percentile) and 32.5 inches (95th percentile). Her head was in the 90th percentile. They looked at her eczema, which has been flaring a lot lately. The doc seemed seemed to think it was probably a result of our summer fun (ie - too much sunscreen, too much pool water) but we did discuss allergies. Keeping it medicated and lubed up has helped immensely so hopefully once we pass the summer months, we'll see some improvement or get an indication of what the problem might be. Other than that one issue, she is doing well. The doctor is impressed with her running, got to watch her follow a few commands, and was shocked to hear that Hailey insists on eating with a fork and spoon. The doctor liked that she had 10-12 words and thinks she is a healthy smart little girl. Hannah also impressed the doctor by coloring her a picture, writing her name on it, and writing "doctor" on the paper as I spelled it to her.
Here is a recent picture of my 15 month old baby girl - she's looking so big these days:

Boating
Paul and Marie (and Joe and Anne) have started trying to go out on the boat on Wednesday evenings. This summer has seen it's fair share of rain, so we haven't been able to go much. However, a few weeks ago we finally got our chance. Hannah had been on the boat a few times when she was younger but Hailey has never been. This is also the first time Hannah has been when she was old enough to actually enjoy it. Rob and I had tons of fun too. Rob tried out the tube and the skis and I put on the skis a few times.
Hannah loved being in the water to show how great she is at swimming now so we let her get out of the boat a few times to swim. Here she is swimming with Daddy:
While Mommy and Hailey enjoy the boat. Note the look on Hailey's face - I'd say she enjoyed the boat but not the life jacket.
